People of the Web - What Are You Looking At?

SunHerald.com : Clinton says even if Obama wins primary, Mississippis choice is historic
While in Mississippi, Clinton also might have to try to soothe any hurt feelings from her comment last year about the state. Clinton was speaking with the Des Moines Register about how Iowa and Mississippi were the only states yet to elect a woman to Congress or as governor, when she said:”How can Iowa be ranked with Mississippi? Thats not what I see. Thats not the quality. Thats not the communitarianism, thats not the openness I see in Iowa.”
Obama supporters, including former Gov. Ray Mabus, held a news conference Wednesday at Obamas campaign office in Jackson to remind voters of what she had said. Mabus said Clinton had insulted the state.
“Its kind of clear what she was doing. She was trying to curry favor with Iowa because there was an election going up there,” Mabus said. “Its also clear that she didnt expect ever to have to be in Mississippi.”
Ending her speech, Clinton acknowledged her remarks and said the state has a chance to make a real statement.
“And that is for Mississippi to vote for a woman for president on Tuesday. Lets go make history together,” she said, before breaking into an Obama-like chant of “Yes we will Yes we will”
Translation: “Yeah, I demeaned Mississippi and you can prove me wrong by…voting for me!”

Berkeley City Council moderates anti-Marine position - CNN.com
CNN — The Berkeley City Council voted early Wednesday to rescind a previous vote that said Marine recruiters are “not welcome in this city,” but held tight to its anti-war stance.
I don’t think that there is anybody that hates war more than the people going to fight it.

But here we look at some of his more outlandish claims
Very interesting…

#90 Little Black Sambo by Helen Bannerman
I would’ve thought that title would be a lot higher up on the list. I guess people are slowly forgetting about it. I also think it is odd that Fahrenheit 451 isn’t in the top 100 either.
