The laying of the infill is not quite completed, so the look isn't as sharp or bright as it will be when it's done, but it's a good look at how things will appear.

The TCU game of 2003 will be the last time USM fans can tear down the goal posts after a big win. This is the base of the new collapsible goal posts, installed today (4/15/04). Obviously,the base will be covered with infill and turf. The supervisor of the project found some settling in the base of the turf that left parts of it not smooth. They peeled those parts back (like this portion of the mid-field logo) to re-work the base. They were finished by that night, in time for the next day's spring game.
